Tsann Kuen to open 17 Star Travel outletsPublished: 09 Feb 2009 18:12:51 PSTFeb. 9, 2009 (China Knowledge) – Star Travel, the tourism subsidiary of Taiwan-based home appliance chain Tsann Kuen Enterprise Co Ltd, plans to open 17 outlets in mainland China this year, sources reported.Star Travel will extend its business network to Shanghai, Xiamen and Dalian via its new outlets. The stores will be equipped with 3C products such as digital cameras, image processing software, and memory cards.Despite the economic downturn, Tsann Kuen still plans to open the new outlets. Jerry Yen, general manager of Tsann Kuen, said the company aims to organize its layout in mainland China to enhance its further development.Tsann Kuen left mainland China in 2005 by selling its 32 home appliance stores to its rival, Yongle China Appliance Sales Co. Ltd, but the previous withdrawal does not indicate a lack of interest in capturing a share the mainland China market, as this new move confirms.Copyright © 2009 http://www.chinaknowledge.comSend feedback or comments to: news@chinaknowledge.comFor more news, financial weekly reports, business guides to China and other premium information, subscribe to China Knowledge today: To access our page on Bloomberg, type CKFI Related TopicsChina News港澳游 ペニーオークション 搅拌器 网络传真 减速马达 -
